TBI DEVELOPMENT BEGINS RETAIL CENTER CONTRUCTION

Toeniskoetter  & Breeding Inc. Development (TBI Development) has begun construction of an 80,000-square-foot retail center one block west of Highway 101 on Cochrane Road in Morgan Hill.

As part of growth and repositioning, Toeniskoetter & Breeding Inc. Development (TBI Development) has promoted key employees and consolidated expanded operations in the historical Cook Mansion, President and CEO Brad Krouskup announced.

TBI DEVELOPMENT PROMOTES KEY STAFF, CONSOLIDATES OFFICES

As part of growth and repositioning, Toeniskoetter & Breeding Inc. Development (TBI Development) has promoted key employees and consolidated expanded operations in the historical Cook Mansion, President and CEO Brad Krouskup announced.

   • Vice President Daniel T. Amend has been promoted to Senior Vice President with primary responsibility for acquisition of investment properties. Mr. Amend joined TBI Development in 1996 and has additional responsibilities for negotiation of major portfolio leases.

   • Controller Yvonne Siko has been promoted to Vice President of Finance and made an officer of the company. Ms. Siko has been with the company since 1986 and is responsible for all accounting operations for TBI Development and for 30 real estate investment partnerships and companies.

   • Erin Toeniskoetter has been promoted from Asset Manager to Senior Asset Manager. Ms. Toeniskoetter, who joined the company in 2000, is responsible for the management of more than two million square feet in the existing portfolio, as well as new developments and acquisitions.

       TBI Development and TBI Construction & Construction Management Inc. are consolidating operations in separate areas of their headquarters at 1960 The Alameda.

  TBI Development has moved its offices into the former Cook Mansion, a 5,600-square-foot building facing The Alameda whose restoration has won awards for excellence. TBI Construction is consolidating its operations in the attached office building in areas formerly occupied by TBI Development Property Management and by Colliers International Commercial Real Estate Brokers.
        
         Krouskup said the growth of TBI Development’s portfolio through acquisitions and development resulted in a need for organizational changes and additional space. TBI Development, which has a partnership with Minneapolis-based Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, has recently acquired 120,000-square-foot First Franklin Plaza at 2150 North
First St. in San Jose and three office buildings in Campbell totaling 61,056 square feet. The company also has started construction of 80,000-square-foot Madrone Village Retail Center in Morgan Hill.
        
         Founded in 1983, Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development has developed some 3 million square feet of buildings and manages a portfolio of more than two million square feet throughout Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties.
