MADRONE VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER OPENING

Toeniskoetter & Breeding Inc. Development (TBI Development) will open the first phase of the 80,000-square-foot Madrone Village Shopping Center, President Brad Krouskup announced. The four initial businesses there will be South Valley National Bank, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, FedEx Kinko’s and Chipotle Mexican Grill. Together the four will occupy more than half the space in the four-building, 28,000-square-foot first phase.


 

 

 

 

 

 


TOENISKOETTER & BREEDING DEVELOPMENT PROMOTES KIM QUACH, HIRES TIA VIEHWEG

SAN JOSE – As part of the growth of its property management business, Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development has promoted Kim Quach to asset manager and hired Tia Viehweg as portfolio accountant, President Brad Krouskup announced.

Quach joined Toeniskoetter & Breeding Development in accounting in early 2006. As asset manager, she manages a portfolio of approximately 500,000 square feet of office and R&D properties in San Jose, Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz and the 30-acre Cochrane Business Ranch in Morgan Hill. Quach formerly was an accountant with Net Magic, an Internet Service Provider based in Campbell. In addition to a background in accounting, she also holds a California real estate license and has a degree in business management.

As property portfolio accountant, Viehweg executes the daily accounting functions of the development and property management teams. She also maintains insurance and vehicle schedules and assists with reconciliations and monthly closing reports. Viehweg has more than 10 years experience in accounting, banking and real estate. She has a California real estate license, and she is a member of the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Originally from California’s North Coast, Viehweg studied business, dance and photography at Humboldt State University, while providing supportive living assistance to the elderly and mentally challenged.

Krouskup said the growth of Toeniskoetter & Breeding Development’s portfolio through acquisitions and development resulted in a need for additional staff and organizational changes.

Through a partnership with Minneapolis-based Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, the company recently acquired 120,000-square-foot First Franklin Plaza at 2150 North First St. in San Jose and three office buildings in Campbell totaling 61,056 square feet. The company also has completed the first phase of construction of 80,000-square-foot Madrone Village Retail Center in Morgan Hill.

            Founded in 1983, Toeniskoetter & Breeding Development has developed some 3 million square feet of buildings, manages a portfolio of more than two million square feet and serves as managing general partner for a number of diversified real estate properties throughout Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. Previous projects include 450 West Santa Clara Street, the O’Connor Health Center and the western headquarters for Integrated Circuit Systems, all in San Jose; Gateway Square in Campbell and the Granite Creek Business Center in Scotts Valley.
