TBI DEVELOPMENT PROMOTES AMEND TO VICE PRESIDENT

Daniel T. Amend

SAN JOSE - Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development has promoted Project Development Manager Daniel T. Amend to Vice President. His increased responsibilities include management of the company's recently created Asset Acquisition Program.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Amend, 27, will continue to maintain relationships with tenants and investment partners, procure financing for investment properties, manage development entitlements and negotiate leases. Most of this activity has been associated with development of the Cochrane Business Ranch and Madrone Business Park in Morgan Hill.

"Dan has contributed significantly to the success of the new Madronne Business Park and other projects in the TBI portfolio," President Brad Krouskup of TBI Development said. "We are confident that he will be as successful in enhancing that portfolio through acquisition of carefully selected properties as he has been in developing and leasing properties."

Amend was born in San Jose and grew up in Santa Clara. He has been associated with Toeniskoetter & Breeding since his sophomore year at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, when he worked for TBI Construction during his summer vacation. While studying at the University of Notre Dame, Amend interned during summers with TBI Development, and he joined the company full-time after earning a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering in 1996.

Amend is a member of the Board of Directors of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He has an Officer License and a Broker License from the California Department of Real Estate.

Amend and his wife, Priscilla, live in the Willow Glen area of San Jose.

Founded in 1983, Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development has developed more than two million square feet of buildings and serves as managing general partner for a number of diversified real estate properties throughout Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. These projects include the 30-acre Cochrane Business Ranch, which is adjacent to the 110-acre Madrone Business Park in Morgan Hill; 450 West Santa Clara Street, the O'Connor Health Center and the western headquarters for Integrated Circuit Systems, all in San Jose; Gateway Square in Campbell and Granite Creek Business Center in Scotts Valley.
