VOCERA COMMUNICATIONS, INC. MOVING HEADQUARTERS TO SAN JOSE BUILDING Of TBI DEVELOPMENT

Vocera Communications, Inc., Cupertino-based developer of the only wearable, hands-free instant voice communication system on the market, has leased 46,305 square feet of space at 525 Race St., announced Brad W. Krouskup, President and CEO of Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development (TBI Development). Vocera plans to begin moving the first of its 110 Cupertino employees to the new headquarters in November.

D’VINE JAZZ AND WINE SHOP OPENING AT MADRONE VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER

D’Vine Jazz & Wine, a new business that will provide the South Valley’s first wine bar and jazz room and one of the area’s few venues of any kind for regular live entertainment, has leased 3,775 square feet of space in the Madrone Village Shopping Center. The business is expected to open the middle of December next to Chipotle Mexican Grill, announced Brad Krouskup, president of shopping center owner Toeniskoetter & Breeding Inc. Development (TBI Development).

Chuck co-founded Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Construction and Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development in 1983 after serving as Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Carl N. Swenson Co., a leading San Jose construction/development company. From inception, the business philosophy was to provide high-quality construction and to develop and hold for its portfolio buildings of enduring design, materials and value. Brad Brad W. Krouskup
President and CEO

Brad oversees the acquisition, development and management of all investment properties. A veteran of Carl N. Swenson Construction, Brad joined TBI in 1983. Recent projects include Madrone Business Park in Morgan Hill, a master planned 110 acre business park which boasts 1.5 million square feet of commercial, office and light industrial buildings, as well as an 80,000 sq. ft. shopping center that will break ground in the summer of 2006. Brad currently serves on the Board of Directors of the San Jose/Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce and is a past board member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and Children's Discovery Museum. Brad is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.

   
Dan

Daniel T. Amend
Senior Vice President

Dan's responsibilities include the acquisition of investment properties, the negotiation of new leases and lease renewals, the procurement of permanent financing for all investment properties, the management of city entitlements, and the maintenance of relationships with existing tenants and investment partners. Dan has most recently been involved with the acquisition of 2605 Winchester Blvd., Campbell, 743-745-747 Camden Avenue, Campbell, and 2150 N First Street, San Jose. Dan is currently on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose and Senior Housing Solutions and he is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He has an Officer License and Broker License from the California Department of Real Estate. Dan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.

 
Gary

F. Gary Dam
Vice President, Construction Services

Gary joined Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development in September 2007. Gary is a familiar face at TBI Dedvelopment having worked with both Chuck Toeniskoetter and Brad Krouskup for over 23 years. Gary served as Construction Project Manager for TBI Construction and Construction Management and during his tenure built various projects for the Development partnerships including the Granite Creek Business Center, Madrone Business Park, Madrone Village Shopping Center, 450 West Santa Clara Street and 1960 The Alameda in San Jose.

Gary's move to Toeniskoetter & Breeding, Inc. Development was a natural progression in his career, given his interest in real estate development. Gary will utilize his construction expertise in coordinating improvements within TBI Development's existing portfolio as well as new construction projects.

 

Leah

Leah C. Toeniskoetter
Project Development Manager

Leah’s responsibilities currently lie in the entitlement phase of the proposed Bear Valley Village, a new ski village development located on the Highway 4 corridor in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  This project consists of approximately 365 condo and condo-hotel units, 23,000 square feet of retail, 24,000 square feet of amenities and a high speed chair lift connecting Bear Valley to the Bear Valley Mountain Resort.  Prior to this position in the company, Leah focused on the acquisition, development and management of TBI’s Real Estate Portfolio, with an emphasis toward building acquisitions, permanent financing and portfolio marketing.

Formerly, Leah was a senior credit analyst for Comerica Bank.  She served in the Peace Corps for over two years (Bolivia, South America) as a business consultant and project manager for a women’s run cooperative. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1999 with a degree in Science-Business, specializing in geological and biological sciences. She is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and Italian and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Valley Medical Center Foundation and the Silicon Valley Rotaract Club.            

   
Lisa

Lisa W. Lemoin
Executive Assistant

Lisa’s is responsible for all administrative support to the Chairman, President/CEO and Sr. Vice President. She also provides additional support to the Property Management team and Project Development Manager. She is in charge of Human Resources and coordinates the web presence and public relations for TBI Development.

Lisa formerly worked for Filoli Gardens and Citation Homes Central. She is a graduate of Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo.

   
Nora

Nora E. Taylor
Receptionist

Nora joined the TBI Development team in 1994. It's likely she's the first person you talk to when calling or visiting our offices. Her professionalism and positive attitude are what make a visit to the TBI company memorable. Nora's husband Jere recently retired from TBI Construction, but Nora continues to grace our front office. Nora is also San Jose's #1 Sharks fan and spends much of her free time with her 8 grandchildren.
